ABOUT US
We are a group of farmers that has been working with Wagyu animals in Uruguay for the past 10 years.
Our goal is to produce the best beef in the world. Naturally, hormone-free and based on a grass feed system during most of the animal’s life. At the final stage of the process the animal stays in a feedlot to reach good marbling levels.
Our group is coordinated by professionals in Agriculture, Animal Genetics and Foreign Trade.
PRODUCTION

GENETICs
Semen and Pure Wagyu bulls are used from the stud of our group: Cabaña "El Oriental"
Select parents with a high percentage of Tajima line through the study of pedigrees, looking for a good growth and conformation, but without affecting the marbling of the carcasses.

calf breeading
Calves have low birth weight from 26 to 28 kg. They are bred next to their mother for 6 months from birth, being weaned up to a live wigth of 160 kg live weight.
This stage is very important because in the first months of their lives intramuscular fat cells are defined.

post weaning
This stage begins after weaning of animals during the folowing 10 to 12 months latter.
The animals are on a pasture,
hormone-free.
The aim of this period is to produce an animal of
300 -350 kg in live weight.

FEEDLOT
After reaching 350 kg live weight, the animals are admitted moved into the feedlot for at least 300 days.
The goal of this stage is to complete the animal’s body size and deposit grow body fat.
slaugther
The animals are slaughtered once they reach 650 kg.
After slaugthering we wait 48 hours. At quartering of the carcasses, we measure the level of marbling.
At this point the carcasses are ranked according to their marbling level and moved to dboning.
